Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon. Our guest speaker will be Corinne Burgess, Highlands County Natural Resources Specialist. Her topic is “Things you should know about water conservation in Florida.” Corrine will share with the members what water conservation is and ways that we can conserve both indoors and outdoors and why it is important to do so. The luncheon will be held at the Lake Placid Elks Lodge, 12:00 noon. Cost is $8.00 per person.
