| Lake June in Winter Scrub State
Park offers nearly 3 miles of shoreline along the western side of Lake June. The site
protects 845 acres of rare scrub habitat and is home to 19 rare plant and animal species. The park offers nature trails and a place for picnicking, nature study, and bird watching. Southern Bald Eagles and Osprey nests are on the property. There is parking for 10 vehicles, a picnic shelter, and a composting toilet. The property is comprised of 845 acres of pristine scrub, a desert-like community of rare plants, white sands, and abundant wildlife in an area frequented by songbirds. > Visit the Florida State Parks Web site for more information |

| Driving Directions: Take US 27 to Lake June Road (also County Road 621 West, Citgo Gas station at this intersection). Travel Lake June Road for about 5 miles to its intersection with Daffodil Road (Miller's Gas Station at this intersection). Travel south on Daffodil Road, park entrance is approximately 1.5 miles. |
