Parks

Parks within the Town of Lake Placid city limits include DeVane, Stuart, Bicentennial, Spruce Street, John’s and Lake June. Lake June Park is a recreational complex that offers four lighted ballfields, where baseball, softball and soccer provide lots of exciting league play. It also has a boat ramp.

H.L. Bishop Park, which is located on the northeast shore of the 3,504 acre Lake June in Winter, has a boat ramp as well as volleyball and basketball courts. The park also includes a clubhouse, beach and swimming area, picnic tables, barbecue grills, a pavilion and fishing pier.
